Springhouse protecting the "Old Spring" located behind and west of the school house building.
From this spring the school got the alternate name of "The School House Near The Old Spring".

In the upper right of the below photo can be seen Zionsville Road which leads west
to the cemetery used by "The School House Near The Old Spring" congregation.
