   Early Direct Line Information for FRANTZ Particpant Kit Number 36375

The exact immigrant is not known but reportedly came from the Palatinate in Germany
or Switzerland around 1730 and settled on Oregon, Lancaster Co., PA and he was
probably/possibly named Jacob Frantz.
 
1)  He had a son, Jacob Frantz, born Sept 25, 1755, died May 11, 1799.
    He married twice. The second wife being Maria Nissley. They lived near Millersville,PA.
 
2)  They had a son Christian Nissley Frantz, born June 23, 1797, died May 8, 1868.
    He also married twice, the second wife being Elizabeth Kaufman Miller. 
 
3)  They had many children, the oldest son being Jacob Miller Frantz, born Dec 18, 1823,
    died Feb 16, 1908.
 
All these people lived in Lancaster, PA area and were associated with the Mennonite Church.
