Northampton Co., PA. Mathia Eagner Senior of the Long
Swamp Township in the County of Berks and Providence of
Pennsylvania Yeoman made out his Will, as follows:
1. His body to be buried in a Christianlike and decent manner.
2. Since he already divided several tracts of land and 
plantations among his 4 sons, Mathias, John, Henry and
Peter for favors, considerations and partly for Sunday
particulars recieved for the yearly subsistance of his
wife, Elizabeth. He intends to sign the deeds for all
his said land and plantations for the above named sons,
that he now has patents for. If he is not able, then he 
appoints his wie, Elizabeth, and his friend and 
neighbor, Philip Doesher, to sign and execute the deeds. 
3. As a separate agreement for 25  acres of land unto Conrad Yager. 
4. As a separate agreement for 7 acres of land unto
Baltzer Lutz, which had been previously sold to him.
5. He gave to the son of his oldest daughter, Catherine,
late wife of Teeter Gaumer, named Mathias Gaumer, the
sum of 110 pounds of lawful money of Pennsylvania to be
paid to him as soon as he reaches 21, for his hereditary
share and portion out of his whole estate.
6. He gave to his deceased daughter, Elizabeth's, four
children, (not named),  the sum of 110 pounds of lawfull
money, to be equally divided among them, but first to 
deduct, what he the said George Schroeder hath received
already of him as in part whereof and to be paid to each
of them in equal share, as soon as they reach the usual
age (21) for their hereditary share and portion of his Estate. 
7. Since he has given to his oldest son, Jacob Eagner,
as well as his other sons, such parts of his estate as
will be equal to each other. So he hereby further give
and bequeath unto his beloved wife, Elizabeth, all the
resource of his estate. Also a tract of woodland of 
about 94 acres of land with the usual allowance, which 
is not yet patented, together also with all the cattle,
household goods and outstanding debts and whatever I
kept lately for themselves of all thier personal estate. 
At her death, all the said estate, what she shall leave
behind, shall be equally divided between and among his
named five sons, Jacob, John, Mathias, Henry, and Peter Eagner. 
8. He nominates his wife, Elizabeth, and trusty friend,
Philip Dresher to be sole executors and that he allows
them for their trouble to take their wages by the day
and not according to law.
