I have researched this Kerchner line even though I am not a descendant of this Kerchner immigrant because this family group spelled the surname exactly the same as my immigrant family group. They also settled in Berks County, Pennsylvania, only a few townships away from my ancestors. I have attempted to find if there was any connection between the two families. But, there was no interactions between these two families, in legal records or in church records, to my knowledge. Some descendants of this family moved north of the Blue Mountains into the northeastern section of PA and changed the spelling of their surname to Karchner. So far I have not been able to establish any link between this immigrant Andreas Kerchner and my immigrant ancestor, Adam Kerchner.
